Maris & Ieva "A ROYAL ROMANCE": A Theatrical Court Affair Captured by Irisha Kulbovska

Maris and Ieva transformed their celebration into an opulent 18th-century masquerade, stepping back in time against the rugged stonework of a medieval castle fortress. Blending theatrical flair with pure romantic fun, their shoot reads like a page from a grand court chronicle.

 

Capturing intricate historical attire requires a sharp eye for texture and rich color contrasts. The vivid scarlet gown, ornate tricorn hats with white plumes, golden embroidery, and delicate lace Jabot cuffs stand out brilliantly against ancient brick towers and lush green courtyard lawns.  Ieva made a showstopping entrance in a corseted, off-the-shoulder crimson ballgown paired with matching satin gloves, a feather-trimmed hat, and a shimmering tiara. Maris embraced the royal court aesthetic completely in a gold-braided velvet justaucorps, powder-white powdered wig, jeweled rings, and classic tricorn headwear.

This collection demonstrates how theatrical styling, historic architecture, and a playful attitude can coalesce into a genuinely regal, unforgettable photo story.
